He is good....and He is just. I dont always understand the difference between the two. But I'm glad your friend is alive and well. I have a friend who had a big heart scare....made all kinds of promises to God, turned his life around. But as time marches on, he has forgotten all about Who Saved him. .... kind of sad.

That is a wonderful post and two real and wonderful stories to share. God is so good. Sometimes I get lost just trying to grasp His love for us. It is so amazing.

Yes, God is active. And He is moving through the hands and feet of people like you who are willing to sit and pray with a sick friend, and then be an accountability partner to an angry young man. God is active -- and He is using You as He does His thing in Sioux Falls, SD!

@David - I've had my own heart scares as well. I don't make promises to God anymore; I know He saved me (and continues to do so), but most of my promises were of the desperation variety.
@Angel - He is way good, indeed. We're still waiting for a final pathology report, but it appears to be divine healing yet.
